How We Work With Clients

At the core of what we do is to act as your personal CFO, serving as your central coordinator. As a client, we bring the resources of one of the largest independent wealth management firms to you. You are connected to all that LPL Financial offers - experts and thought leaders within our firm and industry, and industry-leading wealth management and financial planning services. We work collaboratively with your other advisors and consultants, ensuring everyone is on the same page and working together – for your benefit. Given our independence and through our network of external providers, we can help coordinate and evaluate services that fall outside the scope of what LPL Financial and our team provide. We synthesize this information to simplify your life, allowing you to have more of what is often referred to as the most precious commodity in the world – time.  

LPL is a Fortune 500 company and the largest independent broker-dealer in North America, with more than $2 trillion in client assets. What sets LPL apart from many other large brokerage firms is that LPL does not manufacture and distribute proprietary investment products. This independence removes the potential for conflicts of interest that may arise when a firm's in-house investment product is recommended over an outside one that is better and/or less expensive due to financial incentives for the firm and/or advisor. We are not a bank, investment bank, or insurance company - by design. We believe this removes internal top-down pressures that financial services companies often face to cross-sell and monetize relationships through in-house products, such as banking, credit, and insurance products. Furthermore, we believe these conflicts of interest weaken the integrity of the relationship and provide an inferior client experience.

Clients don’t want products. They want advice. Advice tailored to their financial picture and objectives. Clients take comfort in knowing that we adhere to a strict process of providing transparent advice and solutions under a fiduciary umbrella, legally obligated to put their interests first. Not the interests of a large publicly traded company and its shareholders.
